MÉXICO SALON

A curated journey through Yucatán, Guadalajara, and México City.

January 25 – February 8, 2027

Three Worlds. One Country. The 2027 Edition.

Each year I design one journey that I consider the definitive way to experience México — not the highlights, not the obvious itinerary, but the version that requires relationships, timing, and a decade of knowing where to look.

The 2027 México Salon is that journey.

Beginning in the emerging artistic landscape of Mérida during the inaugural edition of the Yucatán Art Biennale, continuing through the intimate creative scene of Guadalajara Art Weekend, and culminating in the joyful chaos of México City Art Week — this program weaves together art, architecture, gastronomy and the people who give each region its identity.

Chapter I: Yucatán

January 25 - 29, 2027

Art · Design · Landscape

Still relatively undiscovered internationally, Yucatán offers a slower and deeply atmospheric introduction to México. The first days unfold between artist residencies, colonial haciendas, archaeological sites, private homes and cenotes.

Chapter II: Guadalajara

January 29 - February 1, 2027

Studios · Materiality · Community

If México City is the international stage, Guadalajara is its creative engine. Home to generations of artists, architects, designers and makers, Guadalajara occupies a singular place within México's cultural imagination.

What to expect
Guadalajara Art Weekend circuit / Artist studios and independent galleries / Private homes and collections / Barragán architecture and modernist heritage / Ceramics and material traditions / Fashion, design and contemporary craft / Long and lively artist dinners

Chapter III: CDMX

February 1 - 8, 2027

Art Week · Collectors · Global Capital

Each February, the international art world descends upon México City for one of the most dynamic weeks on the global cultural calendar. Beyond the fairs themselves, the city comes alive through private dinners, gallery openings, artist studios, architecture, music, fashion, and spontaneous encounters.

We have cultivated the relationships and local perspective that make the experience meaningful — not just attended.

Let´s begin
